I chose to work here because I already had a background in this industry. Previously, I worked on the gas turbine side of the business with a company that my father had started as he previously worked for GE\u00ae himself. I have continued to work here because of the growth this company has had over the years and I do enjoy the work that I do.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What was the organization like when you joined?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When I first joined the organization, we were working out of the big house in Glenville, NY.\u00a0 It was very laid back. Jim Lindsey would make rounds striking up a casual conversation. He always took the time to chat with his employees. He always had a story to tell whether it was about his apple cart in the city or he always liked to tell the joke about the corporate \u201cseal.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Do you remember your first day?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Absolutely.\u00a0 I was nervous and excited at the same time.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Do you have any favorite memories from your time with MD&amp;A thus far?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Oh, wow I have so many favorite memories of MD&amp;A. Over 28 years of them! I think the best memory for me would be our time working out of the big house.\u00a0 The BBQs we had in the backyard were great. Jim Lindsey owned a country store so every year at our holiday parties he would bring a pie for everyone to take home.\u00a0 Groundhog\u2019s day was his favorite holiday so he would be sure to bring in Apple Pie to celebrate the day. After a couple of years, I was then promoted to Jim Lindsey\u2019s Administrative Assistant.\u00a0 After I returned from maternity leave, I then became dedicated to just the Alignment and TD group and have continued working with them ever since.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What is the best part of your job or tasks?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Supporting our Field Engineers.
