I have remained at MD&amp;A through the years because I enjoy the challenges of the work.<\/p>\n<h2>What was the organization like when you joined?<\/h2>\n<p>The organization was pretty small when I joined the company. At the time, there were only the 3 of us in the Generator group.<\/p>\n<h2>Do you remember your first day?<\/h2>\n<p>On my 1st day, this Generator group traveled to the PEPCO service center outside of Washington DC, to start our very 1st job. A full rewind on a 1.5-megawatt generator field.<\/p>\n<h2>Do you have any favorite memories from your time with MD&amp;A thus far?<\/h2>\n<p>The field rewind we did for Portland General Electric Nuclear back in the early &#8217;90s.<\/p>\n<h2>How has your job changed over the years?<\/h2>\n<p>I was hired as a Lead winder, worked my up to Generator Specialist, and finally a Project Manager.<\/p>\n<h2>How have you seen MD&amp;A change in the time that you\u2019ve worked here?<\/h2>\n<p>MD&amp;A has grown into one of the largest non-OEM worldwide service providers.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the best part of your job or tasks?<\/h2>\n<p>The people I work with are incredible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Thank you, Gary!<\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Continuing our 40th Anniversary Celebration, we asked some of our most tenured employees about their experience working for MD&#038;A.
